privacy policy
the short version
we collect the minimum we need to run matcharadar. we don't sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers. you can export or delete it any time from account settings.
what we collect
- account — your email address, a user id we generate for you, your handle, password (hashed) and your profile photo if you add one
- your posts — the reviews, replies and other content you write, plus any photos or videos you upload to cafes
- location — precise location while the app is open, used to show cafes near you; coarse location (approximate area) used to suggest cities and regions
- support messages — anything you send to [email protected] or our in-app support, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation
- diagnostics — anonymous crash logs and performance data, so we can fix bugs and keep the app stable
how we use it
to show you cafes and reviews, keep your account safe, reply to support requests, fix bugs, and email you about your account. that's it — no ad networks, no third-party trackers, no profiling.
who sees it
anything on your profile is public by default. your email address, password, exact location, support messages and diagnostics stay private. we share data with a small number of infrastructure providers (hosting, email, object storage, error monitoring) under standard data-processing agreements — only what they need to keep the service running.
